At the Time Attack (fast autocross) event on Sunday, a friend of mine shot some video footage of my Miata while I was out taking photos of the rest of the field on-track. I sat down last night and cut the footage together into a nice little instagram-friendly 60 second clip. Let me know what you think!

Yes! You should edit the very end of the
other vid with just a few seconds of “launch” audio from the beginning of this one. =)

A serious lack of turning in a video called turn & go.

I was thinking about ways to incorporate some launch audio but it was getting late and figured I’d just button it up. Maybe I’ll give it another shot tonight.

I was trying to keep it under 60 seconds for instagram, but I was definitely thinking of ways to cut to some onboard footage without it feeling totally jarring. Maybe I’ll make a longer version.

Just 7-8 seconds at the end would be great. Fade the music out and fade in the launch. I just have a thing about videos of cars with no audio of how they sound. It’s such a huge part of the experience with cars - they appeal to almost all of our senses (haven’t licked my car in a while).

Definitely agree. This vid was meant for Instagram which has a 60-second limit on videos. I’ll probably make a longer version to pull in some onboard audio, if not video. Thanks for checking it out!
